Volunteers
Sheila Morris has been the driving force behind Emsworth in Bloom her leadership and enthusiasm for the project has been inspirational.
However, Sheila would be the first to say that Emsworth in Bloom would not exist without our wonderful team of volunteers.
This is a true community project. Our volunteers take responsibility for individual flower displays that get re-planted every May and October. Our volunteers are amazing people who volunteer to plant, weed and feed the wonderful flower displays all year round. We simply cannot continue this project without their work and their effort and enthusiasm makes such a difference to our town.
We are always looking for volunteers to join us.
Join Our Team of Volunteers
We are always keen to recruit more volunteers and that will allow us to increase the scope of what can be achieved to help make our town look as attractive as possible.
It is not a huge commitment but it makes such a diffence to our town.
This is our newest volunteer, Dee Banks of Emsworth (May 2025). Dee is very community minded and “just wanted to give something back” when she offered to help as an Emsworth in Bloom volunteer. Dee has just taken over looking after the planter in North Street by the Fire Station.
